OUR STORY
A Legacy of Faith, Service, and Hope Since 1997
On 31 May 1997, a new chapter of ministry began in South London when Pastors Jeremy and Debbie Busk stepped out in faith to begin the work of Living Waters Church in Tooting. What started as a simple but sincere vision to serve God and reach people with the Gospel has, through the years, grown into a faithful and enduring ministry touching many lives across the community.
For more than 27 years, Pastor Jeremy and Debbie Busk have remained steadfast in their calling. Through seasons of joy and challenge, growth and testing, they have continued to shepherd the church with humility, love, consistency, and deep commitment to Christ. This has become a testimony of perseverance, integrity, and pastoral devotion also an example to many —their ministry reflects the words of Galatians 6:9:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Living Waters Church was birthed as part of the wider vision of Kensington Temple London City Church, one of London’s historic Pentecostal churches and a significant centre of Christian mission and outreach in the United Kingdom. Over the decades, Kensington Temple has developed a strong network of more than 30 churches and ministries across London carrying a vision for evangelism, discipleship, revival, and community transformation.
This wider apostolic family has helped strengthen churches, develop leaders, and encourage unity across congregations. The ministry continues under the apostolic leadership vision of Malcolm Duncan, who has led Kensington Temple since 2024 with a strong emphasis on biblical teaching, pastoral care, and spiritual renewal. As Living Waters Church looks toward the future, it does so with gratitude for the past, faith for the present, and hope for the generations still to come. The journey that began in 1997 continues today with the same passion: to proclaim Christ, serve the community, and remain faithful to the call of God.

Living Waters Community Church is a vibrant part of the Kensington Temple London City Church (KTLCC) network and the Elim Pentecostal Churches, a Spirit-empowered movement with over 550 churches across the United Kingdom.
My heart is to lead this church with purpose, faith, and a deep love for God’s presence, His Word, and His people. Together, we are building a Spirit-filled community where lives are transformed, families are strengthened, and every person is encouraged to grow in Christ and discover His purpose for their life.
